DOUXO Calm Micro-Emulsion Spray - Pink Label 

DOUXO Calm products are designed to treat allergy-induced skin problems in dogs and cats, both by alleviating the symptoms as well as by preventing or minimizing recurring flare-ups. The active ingredients are phytosphingosine (patent protected) and hinokitiol, which exhibit broad-spectrum anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antifungal properties. Phytosphingosine uniquely restructures the lipid barrier by maintaining the cohesion of stratum corneum and maintaining the correct moisture balance. No other veterinary dermatology molecule on the market today has this feature and benefit. Hinokitiol complements the actions of the phytosphingosine, which makes the combined formulation extremely effective. DOUXO Calm is formulated as a shampoo, a micro-emulsion spray, and a gel. Similar to the DOUXO seborrhea treatment protocol, the shampoo is used during the first week, followed by the micro-emulsion spray in weeks two and three (the spray is also used for long-term treatment of atopic dermatitis).
